Splashdown Quaywest is located near the sea in Paignton, Devon. It is the UK’s largest outdoor waterpark and the site has 8 water slides, small splash pools for youngsters and a swimming pool.
What is there to do at Splashdown Quaywest?
Their slides vary in length and height limits. There is the Devil’s Drop with a 65 ft near vertical drop into a black hole run, this is one of the highest and fastest flumes in the UK. The Screamer is a short, sharp, shock slide where you will descend like a bullet through a 60-degree steep arc. This is not for the faint-hearted.
The Wild Kamikazee has three steep drops and there are raging rapids which are an inflatable tyre slide fun with friends and family. This is 145 metres long. The Surf Lagoon is 130m long with twists and turns and again is a tyre slide. There is the Sidewinder which is through 112m of open and closed tubes on a mat. Plus a corkscrew, again on a mat and a wet and wild mat ride through 98 metres of twists and turns.
Blennies toddler pool has a depth of 0.5 metres and has a little slide and a toddler splash pool, perfect for children under the age of 8. There is also a 20m long swimming pool which is 1.2m deep and an indoor amusement arcade.
