Things to do at Springfields adventure Land review
Springfields is located in Spalding, Lincolnshire. It is a retail outlet with shops and cafes. They recently upgraded their entertainment facilities and they now have the wonderful adventure land with a JCB Zone, Sky net and more.
If you visit it is recommended that you purchase an all-inclusive wristband. That way you can enjoy everything. Their new facilities include a fun JCB young drivers Zone. Which is a role-play area with ride-on JCBs, along a track that even has a round-a-bout, pretend petrol pumps, shops and more. There’s even a little hill on the track. Also in this area, there’s JCB-themed play equipment. Sessions are timed so make sure you book your one-hour slot.
Springy’s Beach is an undercover sand and water play area. You might want to bring a change of clothes for this one. They also have Goldie’s gold mine where you can pan for ‘gold’ and Sky nets. This is a treetop village with some very fun nets high up in the trees. It’s quite an experience walking and bouncing on them. I challenge you to stay upright. There are walkways and bridges. Finally, there’s Dino Golf which is a fun 9-hole adventure mini-golf course. Plus a miniature railway that you can ride on but this has limited running days.
If you have the time there is also a seasonal, water taxi that can take you into the centre of Spalding (around £7 for a return). Plus the on-site Festival gardens at Springfields are worth a look around as they have been designed by famous garden designers such as Charlie Dimmock and Kim Wilde. Make sure you bring some duck food as there’s always plenty of ducks to feed.
Springfields adventure Land has recently added a couple more fun things to do. They now have adventure paddle boats. Children can have a go from the age of 3-16. £3 per boat for a 10-minute session. There is also now a new climbing wall. It is 7.3 metres high and children from 1.1 metres can take part (there are weight restrictions). There is a small additional charge for this attraction of £5 per person for up to 2 climbs.
