The St Ives Surf School is located on the beautiful beach of St Ives, Cornwall. They provide bespoke surf lessons and coaching plus paddleboarding tuition, sea kayaking tours and coasteering adventures. They are highly regarded as one of the best places to learn to surf in Cornwall. Their diverse team of saltwater specialists provide the tuition and all their activities operate from their two beautiful beach locations in the heart of St Ives. Their aim is to provide an unforgettable ocean experience in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

There are five different levels of surfing lessons on offer ranging from total beginners to the more experienced. Children under ten years need to be supervised by a non-surfing adult in their group lessons. You can hire or learn how to do stand-up paddleboarding and they also offer Sea Kayaking tours. Children under 12 must share a double kayak with an adult. The tours last for 1.5-2 hours and private tours are also available.

For a true adventure, you can take part in coasteering. It is an adrenaline-filled combination of traversing rocks, floating through gullies, sea swimming, exploring caves and negotiating jumps. Sessions can be tailored to suit the group and are suitable for all abilities. Children can take part from the age of 12 and sessions last for 1.5-2 hours.
