St Nectans Glen

St Nectans Glen and Waterfall are located in Trethevy near Tintagel, Cornwall. It is an area of picturesque woodland that stretches for around one mile along the banks of the river.
The most prominent feature is St Nectan’s Kieve which is a spectacular sixty-foot waterfall through a hole in the rocks. It has been voted an area of outstanding natural beauty and has been appointed a site of special scientific interest due to its rare specimens of plants. It is also considered to be one of the UK’s most spiritual sites. The circular walk combines all three waterfalls.
In the glen, you will progress along the paths and slate beds. The walk is a nature track and some parts are not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or people with walking difficulties. There is also a nature trail which is located around the upper part of the glen. You can purchase an activity book for this from the shop for £1.
