Stanley Park

Stanley Park is a public park in the town of Blackpool in Lancashire. It covers an area of around 104 hectares and it is Blackpool’s main park. The park has a landscaped design and there are a few historical buildings still within the park.

They have some well-maintained gardens plus a children’s play area. This has an animal farm theme and it is aimed at children aged 2-8 years. It includes rocking horses, see-saws, slides, climbing frames, swings and roundabouts plus other fun features. For older children aged 8-14, there is a timber-made adventure playground.

Other facilities in the park include all-weather pitches, football, an outdoor sports arena and a golf course. Plus there is a model village, a national BMX race track, a skate park, tennis courts, crazy golf, boat hire, trampolines and more.

Blackpool Model Village and Gardens are located within the park. There are hundreds of models and figures depicting British life, culture and humour. They are open from April until November and ticket prices are £9.95 per adult and £7.25 per child aged 3-16.
