Stithians Lake Country Park
Stithians Lake Country Park and Watersports Centre is located near Redruth, Cornwall. It is in the heart of Cornwall’s iconic mining landscape and it is surrounded by farmland and moorland. It is the largest inland water in West Cornwall.
On-site facilities include the watersports centre. From here you can try out stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing. They offer hire of their equipment and instructor-led sessions. You can also self-launch your own equipment.
There is trout fishing available at the lake and there is even a campsite next to the lake. Around the lake, there is a 5-mile circular route. This goes through meadows, wet woodland and heathland and includes the imposing Stithians Dam.
