Stoke Park Guildford

Stoke Park Guildford

Stoke Park is a large park around 52 hectares in size located on the edge of Guildford, Surrey. It was donated to the town in 1925 by Lord Onslow with the wish that it “remain for all time a lung of the town.” It is the area’s largest, most popular and award-winning park. There is a lovely and recently restored Japanese garden to explore plus other gardens and kids will love cooling off in the paddling pool on a warm day.

There is also a mini golf course and a playground. Around the park, some of the heritage features still remain including an 18th-century walled garden which now has some tennis courts and a boating pond. The paddling pool was built in the 1930s and is open from May to September. The mini golf is open from late July until early September. There is also a fitness trail and a skate park located behind Guildford College.
