Stoke Wood Alpacas
Stoke Wood Alpacas are an outdoor alpaca walking centre located in Stoke St Mark near Taunton, Somerset. They also offer a meet-the-alpaca experience. Their Meet the Alpaca experience are 30-minute session where visitors can come to meet and mingle with their alpacas. You will be able to hand-feed them and take pictures with them. They charge just £5 pp and 50% of the money raised goes to The Children’s Society Charity.
They have been offering alpaca walking since 2018 and booking in advance is highly recommended as they cannot always give time to impromptu visitors. The experience lasts around two hours and it includes a talk about their alpacas and their history.
You will help feed their alpacas and help catch them for haltering. You will then walk around their land with an alpaca. There are drinks and cakes to finish. Under 7 years old must have an adult with them to help them walk an alpaca.
