Stormont Estate

Stormont Estate is a large park with woods and parkland located within the town of Ballymiscaw in County Antrim. It is home to the popular Mo Mowlam Play Park. Around the estate, you can enjoy a variety of walks and there are historic buildings and monuments. It is popular with dog walkers, runners and families.

There are four adventure trails including a history trail, an environment trail, a woodland trail and a bug safari. Walking trails range from 20 minutes to longer 3-mile routes. The estate also hosts many events, throughout the year.

The Mo Mowlam Playpark is an inclusive play area which has been designed for children of all abilities to play together. There are over 40 separate pieces of equipment and entry is free. There is a castle-themed play area and an inclusive area. Plus a multi-sensory play area, a swing zone, adventure play, toddler play and a natural play zone.

There is a cafe serving food and drinks. You are welcome to picnic outdoors.

Parking is available in front of the main gates on Upper Newtownards Road, at the Massey Avenue entrance and in the play park car park.
