The Studio Cinema in Dunoon, Argyll and Bute is located in the centre of Dunoon. They are an independent cinema with two screens.
The cinema first opened in the early ’70s with just one screen and by 1980 it had been divided into two screens. It has a seating capacity of 168 in screen A and 70 in screen B. They are now a fully Digital film theatre.
They show all of the major Hollywood films for young and old. They cater for all tastes and also have a programme of live events, theatre, concerts, opera and ballet. The cinema was refurbished in 2019 and was equipped with brand-new screens, a state-of-the-art sound system and a fresh lick of paint.
