Tamar Lakes Country Park
Tamar Lakes Activity Centre and Country Park are located near Bude, Cornwall. Surrounded by countryside and nestled on the Cornwall and Devon border the lakes are popular with families, cyclists, watersports enthusiasts and more.
On-site facilities include the watersports centre. From here you can try out stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing and canoeing. They offer hire of their equipment and instructor-led sessions. You can also self-launch your own equipment.
There is fishing available at the lake and there is even a campsite next to the lake with a children’s playground. Around the upper lake, there is a 3-mile circular route which is suitable for bikes, pushchairs and wheelchairs. Bike hire is also available.
