Techniquest
Techniquest is a Science Discovery Centre located in Cardiff Bay, South Wales. It gives visitors a hands-on interactive approach to science. There is a science theatre, a planetarium and an exhibition space with over 100 interactive exhibits on-site. They are aimed at visitors of all ages.
The exhibition space is set over two floors. There are some mind-boggling interactive displays where you can launch a rocket and try your hand at virtual surgery. experience a real-life earthquake and even feel the force of a hurricane. There is so much to explore. Their exhibits have five key themes: space, the environment, chemistry, biomedical science and world issues.
While you are there you can keep a record of all your activities and findings and take these home with you so you can dig deeper into what you have seen and discovered. They offer a variety of science-orientated shows in the on-site planetarium. Plus they run special toddler days where toddlers, can explore without bigger kids getting in their way.
