The Animalarium
The Animalarium is a small educational zoo located in Borth, Ceredigion, Wales. They have a varied collection of formerly unwanted captive animals and pets.
They are open every day as a sanctuary for a variety of domestic and farm animals. Many of their animals can be fed and petted. Their 12-acre site overlooks the sea and they are also a private sanctuary for exotic animals, which the public can only visit 6 times a year on their special VIP days.
Their animals include rabbits, guinea pigs, wildfowl, ponies and pigs. Plus wolf dogs, ferrets, degus and more. Animal handling sessions can be found in the petting barn twice a day. The centre has a cafe, a gift shop and there are children’s play parks. They can also host your child’s birthday party.
