The Cocoabean Company

The Cocoabean Company is located near Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway. It is a family-run chocolate factory and visitor attraction.

There is lots of fun to be head with chocolate workshops for children and adults of all ages and abilities. They run 35-45 minute interactive experiences where you can become a chocolatier. You get to make and decorate three chocolatey creations that are yours to keep. They run children’s workshops for ages 3 and over plus family workshops and additional needs workshops.

The venue is home to an outdoor adventure playground complete with a pirate ship, castle and a giant slide. They also have an extensive indoor soft play area. This has been recently revamped and access is included free, of charge with any chocolate workshop ticket. There is also a dedicated under-4s area with a mini ball pit, trampoline, slides and sit-on rockers.

What are the ticket prices?

Their play areas are included with any workshop tickets. You can play without joining in with a workshop. This costs £9 for children aged 4+, £6 for toddlers, aged 1-3 and under 1s are free. Workshop prices vary but most cost around £19.50-22.50 per person.

Dog friendly?

They have picnic tables located outside the front doors where dogs are more than welcome. Dogs are not permitted into the building or into the outdoor play area (with the exception of service dogs).
