The Crocky Trail
The Crocky Trail near Waverton in Cheshire is a mile-long adventure trail for kids with lots of different challenges including rope swings, slides, climbs and a chain bridge.
Things to do at The Crocky Trail
There are some really big slides which are gravity-defying with some being for the more daring child. With names like the Spinning Disk, Titanic and the terrifying Flusher. The slides are at the start of the trail close to the cafe.
The trail itself winds its way through fields, past trees and passes over the Crocky Stream. There are lots of different ways to cross the stream including wobbly bridges, swinging chain bridges and even a fallen log.
There is even a treehouse where you can stop for a picnic. You can expect your kids to come away dirty so make sure you take a change of clothes. They can also host your child’s birthday party. Other fun things to do include sandpit diggers, a hamster wheel, spinning disks, stepping stones and a big chair.

Crocky Bites serves hot and cold food and drinks. There are plenty of places to have a picnic.

An adult ticket is £12, children 5-18 are £17 and 3-4-year-olds are £4.50. Children under 3 are free.

There is a large free car park.
