The Grand Pier Weston-Super-Mare
The Grand Pier Weston-Super-Mare is a pleasure pier located on the seafront of this popular seaside resort in Somerset. The pier first opened in 1904 and it is Grade II listed. The pavilion was destroyed by fire in 1930 and more recently in 2008.
Today the pier is open all year round, except for Christmas Day. There is a range of rides on the pier including Britain’s smallest rollercoaster, F1 simulators and a House of Horrors. Plus a freefall ride, Sidewinder and a laser maze. You can purchase unlimited ride wristbands and upgrade to include a game of mini golf.
A recent addition to the pier is Fairway Fun which has 10 themed mini golf holes including a Helter Skelter, ten-pin and roulette. Plus there is adventure Cove soft play and hundreds of amusements to suit all ages. The soft play area is for children up to the age of 11. They run a range of events, including fireworks at sea, a summer festival and more.
