The Hive at Moss Bank Park

The Hive at Moss Bank Park is located near Bolton, Greater Manchester. Based within the iconic park The Hive offers a unique space made up of a series of gardens adorned with natural play equipment.

It has been designed with pre-schoolers and the under-7s in mind. Young children are encouraged to make lasting connections with nature through creative play. Features include a restored mud kitchen and a colourful sensory garden. magical willow domes, a music station and there is a fun new water play installation.

There are activity trails to join in with plus regular stories and crafts. For an additional charge, you can also toast some marshmallows. In the wider park, there is a miniature railway and seasonal children’s rides plus a children’s play area. You can also see rock gardens and walled gardens. There are tennis courts, a bowling green, an open-air theatre and a wildlife area. Moss Bank Park itself is free, to visit.
