The Hop Farm is a family-friendly tourist attraction in Beltring Kent. It is set in a 400-acre country park and it is over 450 years old. The park has the largest collection of oast houses in the world. There are a number of things to do and they also hold annual events.

Things to do at The Hop Farm

Outdoors there are a few things to do which you pay to go on using tokens. They have giant jumping pillows one for little ones and another for big kids (you need to purchase tokens for these). Kids from 4 to 9 years old can have a go at the ‘Driving school’ where they can learn to drive their own brightly coloured car. (you need to purchase tokens). Kids can also pot their own plants and make their own fairy garden (small charge).

There is a large outdoor adventure play area with rope ladders, slides, wobbly bridges and balance beams. You don’t need tokens to access this. Indoors there is the Hop Farm museum. You can relive the site’s fascinating history of hop picking with a film and exhibitions. They often have indoor entertainment shows and extra activities. There is a soft play area for children aged 3 to 9 years. Kids can also have a go at magic for a small charge.

They have an ever-expanding farm with new enclosures, new species and activities. There is a reptile house, mini-cows, horses, donkeys, goats, alpacas and more. You can also have a go at crazy golf.

Is there food and drink available?

There is a diner, cafe and ice-cream parlour. You can purchase hot and cold food and drinks. There are a number of tables (some sheltered) where you can have a picnic.

What are the main things to do?

Farm Park with historic oast houses, jumping pillows, animals, driving school, adventure play, events, soft play and more. There are toilets and options for food and drink.

What are the ticket prices?

Tickets are just £4 per person and children aged under 1 are free. Most attractions are included in this price, but some have a small additional charge.

Is there parking?

There is a large free car park.

When are they open?

Hop Farm is open for most of the year but they do tend to close in January and are only open weekends in February and March. For up-to-date opening times please visit their website.
