The House Skate Park
Attraction Overview
The House Skate Park is located between the Parkwood Springs and Neepsend areas of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They are a large indoor skate park with wooden floors including banks, ramps, quarter pipes and a vert wall.
The skate park first opened in 1988 and the House has become a local institution, especially with regards to its annual competition. It is also home to a swanky bar area. They also have a fully stocked shop selling skateboard and scooter parts. The House Skate Park also runs quad and inline skate take-over sessions. Scooters and skateboards are welcome but no bikes are allowed.
If your kids are wanting to learn to skateboard they offer 1 to 1 lessons. These run for 1 hour and include equipment hire. They can teach people who have never stepped on a board before right up to those wanting to learn advanced tricks. All ages are welcome. You can also hire the venue privately.
