The Plantation Garden
The Plantation Garden is a restored Victorian town garden located in Norwich, Norfolk. There is a small charge to visit and they are open throughout the year. The gardens were first established around 140 years ago.
The gardens are maintained by volunteers and they are situated in a former chalk quarry. Features include a Gothic fountain, flower beds, lawns and woodland walkways. There is also a rustic bridge, an Italianate terrace, a medieval terrace wall and many other architectural details. The Telegraph has described it as a “tycoon’s folly”.
They host a number of annual events, including visiting bands, children’s theatre, outdoor cinema screenings and more.
