What is there to do at The Postal Museum?
In the Postal Museum exhibitions, you can explore the history of ‘post’. This is a bright and colourful area with plenty to see and explore. A highlight of a visit is the 15-minute journey back in time through the original postal tunnels and station platforms. You can see and hear stories from the people that have worked there. Their interactive exhibits bring to life more than 100 years of postal engineering.
Kids will love the interactive role-play space. It is an immersive mini-town with streets, buildings, trolleys, pulleys, slides and chutes. It’s a great space to set children’s imaginations going through ‘postal play’. A session in this space lasts for 45 minutes. Make sure you book your child’s place at Sorted! The museum is also home to temporary exhibitions. They also host children’s parties in Sorted! There is also the Jolly Postman trail which younger kids will enjoy following with a series of activities along the way.

An adult ticket online in advance costs £16, and a child aged 3-16 is £9. Other pricing options are available. Ticket includes unlimited access to The Postal Museum for one year from the date of your visit and one ride on Mail Rail, valid on your first visit to the museum.
