The Quay Climbing Centre is located in the centre of Exeter, Devon. It is the southwest’s largest indoor climbing centre and they offer a safe and fun climbing experience. The building used to house the generators that powered Exeter’s tram network.
What can you do at The Quay Climbing Centre?
Scale new heights and enjoy a range of activities with your friends from the roped climbing and bouldering offered by the Quay team to the vertical playground that is Clip ‘n Climb.
Kids are natural climbers and there’s nothing better than seeing them scale their first wall! The Quay climbing team will help them unleash their inner rock monkey through the activities they run at the centre. Taster sessions are available for children and adults over the age of 7. They also run sessions for smaller kids. As well as the climbing walls there is also an abseil tower and contained boulder caves.
With over 25 different climbs to try there’s a Clip ‘n Climb to suit everyone and lots of skills to learn. If you really want to test yourself their climbs all have challenge levels to take your climbing to the next level. No previous experience is necessary.
