The Venetian Waterways
The Venetian Waterways is a seven-acre park comprising the Venetian waterways, ornamental gardens and a boating lake located by the sea in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
They are situated just north of Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile and the canals, otherwise known as the Venetian waterways, wind their way through the park. They are crossed and re-crossed by bridges with interlinked islands throughout. Alongside the waterways, there are numerous ornamental features and structures.
Next to the waterways, there is a man-made boating lake which is the largest of its kind in the region. This is a popular haven for ducks and you can enjoy a ride on the water or stop and relax for a while. The park runs alongside the North Beach which has sand dunes and is part of a larger designation of international importance to nature conservation.
