Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens

Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens

Thrigby Hall is known for its collection of Asian mammals, birds and reptiles which are located in the landscaped grounds of the hall. There are also plenty of things for the kids to play on and daily talks/ animal feeding sessions.

What is there to see and do at Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens?

Animals at the park include a pair of critically endangered Sumatran tigers, red pandas, three types of leopards and meerkats. Plus gibbons, otters, reptiles and birds. Dare you cross the wobbly bridge that crosses their crocodile-infested waters?

You can explore the park using its unique network of walkways. You can follow bridges across the lake, climb the Jubilee Tree Walk to see magnificent views of the park and venture into the Tiger Tunnel. There is also the Tiger Tree walk which takes you directly over their enclosure and the Tiger Machan viewing platform where you can be inches away from their Sumatran tigers. Walk through the treetops with the Gibbons and follow the walkway around the trees over the leopard enclosures. The park has daily animal talks and feeds. You can also have the opportunity to ask your own questions.

There is a large play area at Thrigby which includes a 3D adventure maze, climbing frames, a large slide and an undercover toddler soft play area. There is also a separate Tree Ropes play area alongside a play area and slide that is suitable for younger children.
