Time Trap Museum

Time Trap Museum

Museum Overview

Time Trap is a museum in the heart of Grimsby in Lincolnshire. It is just a short walk from the Grimsby Fishing Heritage Museum. You can visit the former prison cells of Grimsby Town Hall and uncover the town’s colourful past.

The museum takes you on a time travel journey through the history of the town. You will walk through dark, twisting corridors exploring mysterious nooks and crannies, up and down winding stairs.

The old Police cells and prisoner exercise area have been transformed into the museum you can visit today. They have a quiz sheet that you can answer as you walk around. There are plenty of interactive exhibits for young and old. There is an excellent recreation of an old tavern.
