Tollcross Park and Leisure Centre
The Tollcross Park and leisure centre are located in Glasgow. The park is internationally famous for its unique Rose garden and impressive winter gardens. Set on a site of 91 acres the park has many hidden gems including a nature walk and a children’s farm. Plus there is the Tollcross International swimming centre.
The children’s farm is a facility which will appeal to young and old alike. There are shire horses, Shetland ponies, an aviary, rabbits, sheep, Highland cattle and more. There is a glen with a nature walk that follows the line of the Tollcross burn and is filled with wildlife.
Also in the park, there is a secret garden and a children’s play area for those under 12. You can take part in an orienteering course and there are a number of seasonal, and annual events. The leisure centre has been recently refurbished and is a world-class centre where professional athletes are trained to be the best. It houses two 50m Olympic-sized swimming pools and a refurbished health suite.
