Torquay Museum is located in the Devon town of Torquay. Situated in a grade II listed building the museum has numerous galleries including one devoted to the local author Agatha Christie and another to local explorers and Egyptology.

At the museum, you will discover 400 million years of Torbay’s heritage. It is a hands-on family-friendly visitor attraction with lots to see and do for children and adults.
Children aged 3-8 years can borrow Explorer helmets and backpacks full of things inside to help them discover more about the museum . There are also sensory backpacks and family-friendly trails for older children that are changed regularly.
Families will love the Time Ark tunnel, fossil activities and their chill-out sensory play zone. Other fun things to do include brass rubbings, there’s an interactive Curse of the Mummy’s hand game and a crawl tunnel with secret objects. You will travel back in time inside an Old Devon farmhouse and more.
