Things to do at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens

With views of St Michael’s Mount, you can explore the woods, stream and dramatic vistas. Interwoven with the planting is an evolving programme of contemporary artwork. The works are by internationally renowned artists who have interacted with the setting to create site-specific permanent work that harmonises with the landscape.

The land at the gardens was once owned by the monks of St Michael’s Mount until 1295 when it was bought by an established farmer. One of the garden highlights is 41,000 pieces of slate arranged in a subtly layered arc in a sunken dale.

Open from mid-February until the end of October the gardens are unique all year round. There are also two indoor exhibition spaces and somewhere you can sit and enjoy food and drinks while enjoying unbeatable views of St Michael’s Mount.
