Treyarnon Bay
A bit more undiscovered than its more popular neighbour, Constantine, Treyarnon Bay is a beautiful sandy beach surrounded by low cliffs. There are plenty of rock pools to explore, one of which contains a natural swimming pool, so it’s perfect for families.
There’s a large car park next to the beach but be sure to arrive early on sunny days as the lanes around here are narrow and don’t allow for any on-street parking. There aren’t many facilities at the beach but there is a toilet and a small shop, available for use in the summer months. A short walk away you’ll find the village of St Merryn and Constantine.
At the top of the cliff above the beach is YHA Treyarnon Bay, a Youth Hostel that has a café/bar on-site serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as food including stone-baked pizzas, sandwiches and vegetarian and vegan options. The hostel also offers family rooms, camping and glamping accommodation options.
