Things to do at Umberslade Farm Park review
Umberslade Farm Park is located in the Umberslade Estate in Tanworth in Arden, Warwickshire. Children of all ages can enjoy a number of farm-based activities including holding, feeding and stroking a variety of their animals. It is a working farm and they have a 10-year covid safe plan for the future. The site offers glamping.
At Umberslade you can book a family farm experience, hire their natural play barn, or enjoy a family pony experience. They also offer Forest school sessions. The family farm experience lasts for an hour and includes small animal holding, meeting their farmyard animals and pony care. Small animals include rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and chicks (when they have them). Farmyard animals include goats, ponies, donkeys and lambs (when they have them). After the session, you are free to explore the rest of the grounds including the coffee shop and outdoor playgrounds.
You can also hire their natural play barn for 1.5 hours. This is for family bubbles only or according to any new restrictions or rules. There is a wooden adventure play-frame with a slide, ladders, bridges, a fireman’s pole and a climbing wall. Plus a large sandpit area with a natural play-frame, a toddler soft play corner, role play area, wooden tractor and slide. You can purchase food and drinks from Espresso farm.
The family pony experience lasts for 1 hour and it is for family bubbles and children from the age of 2 to 6. You will also have access to the coffee shop, parts of the farm park and the outdoor play area. Plus there is now a farm and indoor play barn experience that lasts for 2 hours.
There is now a 3-mile walk that starts and finishes at the farm. The walk takes around 1.5 to 2 hours and there is a shortcut available about halfway round should you need to take it. The walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs
