We The Curious
We The Curious is an educational interactive venue in the centre of Bristol. It is a state-of-the-art visitor attraction offering hands-on discovery aimed at families.
Things to do at We The Curious
There are a number of different areas to explore. Project What If discovers what would happen if you could slow down time, whether is there such a thing as the soul and more. There are 68 new exhibits to play with and 25 art pieces clustered around seven different questions on everyday themes including rainbows, sand, the universe, time, invisibility, illness and soul.
There is an Open City land, The Theatre of Curiosity and the Box art gallery all on the same floor as Project What if. You can mess about with the science of food, grind flour and take part in ‘foody’ experiments.
On the first floor, there is a range of light, sound and sensory experiences. You can make giant bubbles, have fun with illusions, mould the tactile sand and even walk through a tornado. You can even have a go at filming and drawing your own animations. There is also a Planetarium which is the UK’s first 3D planetarium. This provides an even more stunning and immersive experience with full-surround sound and awe-inspiring sights from around the universe.
