Welsh Wildlife Centre
The Welsh Wildlife Centre is located in Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire. It is situated on the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve. The 270 acres of nature reserve includes woodlands, meadows, a deep river gorge, marshland and reed beds.
Home to a diverse range of habitats with some of the UK’s most wonderful flora and fauna. Inside the centre, younger children will love the Learning Through Play area with wildlife colouring, drawing, quizzes and more. Plus wildlife films, an Interpretation centre, cafe and shop.
Outside there are four themed nature trails. Some have easy access, some are more challenging and some can be explored on a bike. You can hire binoculars from the centre to take around their different bird hides. Kids will love the adventure play area. They also have a year activities programme with family-friendly things to do. You can even hire a canoe on-site from Heritage Canoes. They also have bikes available to hire.
