Whisby Animal Centre
Whisby Animal Centre is part of Whisby Garden Centre in Whisby, near Lincoln, Lincolnshire. You can visit the garden centre for no charge, however, there is a small charge to visit the animal centre with its relatively new indoor soft play area.
The garden centre itself is lovely with a pretty lake next to their cafe. Here you can feed the geese and ducks so don’t forget to bring something for them to eat. They have 5 lakes in total so it’s a lovely place to have a wander. There is also an interactive nature trail aimed at children age 4 and over. Eco Explorer is an app which you can download, it then sets you challenges. Don’t forget to visit the aquatic centre, which is also free, to visit.
Whisby Animal Centre is tucked in at the back of the garden centre. There is an outside area with paths to walk around and animals, to meet along the way. It’s not massive but there’s a good selection of animals, to see. You can purchase food to feed the animals. Also outdoors there is a large sandpit with a play area, zip wire and also water play. Plus there is a large indoor soft play area, this is also where the animal centre’s cafe is located.
