White Elm Petting Farm
The White Elm Petting Farm is located in Bicknacre near Chelmsford, Essex. They are a family-run petting farm that is home to over 100 animals. It is part of the White Elm Garden Centre and tea room.
Animals at the farm include pygmy goats, alpacas, sheep and fallow deer. Plus pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and more. When you arrive make sure you purchase a bucket of feed at the ticket hut and then you can feed most of their animals, (with the exception of the rabbits and guinea pigs).
They are an interactive farm and petting the animals is allowed with the exception of the pigs. There are advice signs on all their fences. Outdoors there is a play area with a digger sand pit and a pedal tractor track. Plus there is a trim trail and a small sensory area. Indoors there is a small soft play frame for children up to the age of 8. Please note that the petting farm is online booking only. They run two sessions a day and they can even host your child’s birthday party.
