The White River Cinema in St Austell, Cornwall is located in the centre of the town. It is an independent chain of cinemas and this venue is part of the regeneration of the former Alymer Square. It opened its doors for the first time in 2008 and it was the first purpose-built cinema complex to be built in Cornwall for over 70 years.

This cinema has four screens with state-of-the-art technology. Films are shown in 2D at this location using NEC 2k projection. As well as new releases they also show old classics, theatre shows, music concerts and more. Please note that children under 3 years are not admitted except for special baby/parent-specific performances.

You can purchase hot and cold drinks and snacks, this venue also has a licensed bar. This cinema has hearing induction loops and regular subtitled films. They can even host your child’s birthday party.
