Whitelee Wind Farm Visitor Centre

The Whitelee Wind Farm Visitor Centre is located in Eaglesham, Glasgow. It has become an eco-tourist attraction that has been aided by an on-site visitor centre. Whitelee is the UK’s largest onshore wind farm and is located just 20 minutes from the centre of Glasgow. Home to a cafe, shop, education hub and an interactive exhibition room the centre also has access to a network of over 90km of paths for cyclists, walkers and horse riders.

In the centre, you can learn more about the wind farm in the recently refurbished exhibition. You can find out how green you really are, feel the force of the wind, take a virtual bike ride through the wind farm and learn all about our race to net zero. They host a number of family-friendly activities and workshops. You can also explore the wind farm and learn more about the turbines and ecology of the site in their all-electric bus.
