Wight Karting
Wight Karting is an outdoor go-kart track located near Ryde on the Isle of Wight. It is a family-friendly venue with motor racing for young and old and everyone in between.
The track is 520 metres in length with a number of twists and turns. It is floodlit plus they are open in just about all weathers. They have a range of karts with cadet karts for ages 8-11, junior karts for ages 12-15 and adult karts for ages 16 and over. There are also mini electric karts for children aged 3-7 years which are available for private parties. These have a safety cut-out and speed restriction.
Kids can take part in junior track training sessions from ages 8-15. This gives group tuition and support. Plus they also run Adrenaline Junkie qualifications. They are also able to join in with track races which usually include 2 sessions at 15 minutes each. Children can take part from the age of 11 and adults can also be on the track.
