Wildwood Escot

Wildwood Escot in Otter Saint Mary, Devon is a family-friendly attraction. There are animals, an outdoor adventure play area, a hedge maze, indoor soft play, a drop slide, a 40-metre zip line, an authentic Saxon village and more.
What can you do at Wildwood Escot?
The Wildwood Trust opened in 1999 and registered as a charity in 2002. There is a world-class beech hedge maze and winding trails to follow through the woodland. In the woods, you’ll find wolves, lynx, wild boat, otters and red squirrels. The red squirrel walkthrough is one of only a few in the UK. There is a daily program of feeding times and talks so make sure you check the daily schedule.
For the kids, there is plenty to keep them entertained and let off some steam. There is a tree-top drop slide, traversing walls and a 30-metre zip line plus an adventure play area. In the Saxon village, you can experience an authentic recreation of Saxon life with costumes, crafts and culture. You might even have the chance to strike a Saxon penny or make some jewellery in the village forge.
If the weather isn’t great they have an indoor soft play barn. They can also host your child’s birthday party. Animal experiences are also available.
