Williamson Park

Williamson Park

Williamson Park is located in Lancaster, Lancashire. It is around 54 acres in size with parkland and woodland and enjoys some spectacular views across Morecambe Bay to the Lake District fells.

The park is home to the iconic Ashton Memorial and you can enjoy an enchanting walk in the woodland and other fun things to do. The Grade 1 listed Ashton Memorial was commissioned by Lord Ashton as a tribute to his late wife. You can see inside the memorial and walk to the first-floor outdoor viewing gallery.

There is a Butterfly house that was once a tropical palm house and a small animal zoo with meerkats, mini beasts and marmosets. This has a small charge to visit, see below. The park also has children’s play areas.
