Woolacombe Riding Stables
The Woolacombe Riding Stables is located near Woolacombe in Devon. They are open all year round and all their rides are escorted with boots and hats provided. Children can take part from the age of 4 and adults over 16 stone in weight are not able to ride.
What can you do at Woolacombe Riding Stables?
They offer a variety of experiences including half an hour trek where the escort always walks. 1-hour rides where the escorts walk and ride. These rides are across open fields, valleys and hills. Children aged 7 and over can spend a day at the stables. This includes instruction and riding out as well as meeting all the horses and ponies, grooming, tacking up and more.
You can even take part in a beach ride. These can include instruction and/or a ride-out. They offer 1.5-hour sand dune rides, 1 hour 45 beach rides on Woolacombe beach and more.
