With an Aqua park and just a 5-minute walk into town the Albir Garden Resort on the outskirts of Albir, Costa Blanca is a great family-friendly hotel. Albir is right next to Benidorm in Spain but the two resorts are poles apart. The town is on a much smaller scale than Benidorm and one of its biggest draws are it’s pretty nature walks and go-slow beach life. Alicante airport is a 60-minute coach transfer to the hotel. Highlights

This hotel is great for those who love the water. There are two spacious pools in the heart of the grounds that feature palm trees, sun loungers, and umbrellas around them. Kids have their own pool which is attached to the bigger pools. At the aquapark, there is a great mix of slides to zoom down as well as a tipping bucket fountain. The aquapark is open between May and October and as well as the 16 slides there is a splash park for little ones.

Your Board Basis

Your board at this hotel can be either full board or all-inclusive. The all-inclusive package includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus snacks at set times, selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

The main buffet restaurant hosts theme nights including Spanish, Mexican, Asian, American and Indian cuisine. You can expect show-cooking stations dotted around the restaurant. There are also three outdoor restaurants including a pizza corner, a sushi place and a Mexican food truck. The hotel also has a couple of bars including a pool bar.

Additional Activities

This hotel has a host of other facilities. There is a playground, table tennis, darts and beach volleyball. Plus a games room, minigolf, badminton and more. You can expect extra daytime activities. Adults can relax in the Turkish bath or enjoy a massage treatment.

Entertainment

The on-site kids ‘ club is open from mid-June until mid-September. This is for children aged 4-12 and they can take part in a number of activities. In the evenings all the family can enjoy entertainment from May until October, 7 nights a week. Entertainment includes bingo, live music, shows and quiz nights. Plus little ones have a mini disco.

Rooms here are in the form of apartments set in the hotel’s grounds. There are 1-bedroom apartments with a balcony that sleeps up to 4 people. Or you can upgrade to a premium studio which also has a balcony.
