For a great family-friendly pool scene why not consider the Alua Sun Torrenova? It is situated close to Palma Nova on the southwest coast of Majorca and close to Magaluf. There are shops, bars and restaurants nearby plus the beach is a 5-minute walk away. The resort has been purpose-built around a trio of white sand beaches. Palma is just 15 km away and Palma Airport is a 45-minute coach transfer away.

Your Board Basis
You can book to stay full board which includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wine. beer, soft drinks and tea are available at the buffet restaurant with meals. Or you can stay half-board which includes a buffet breakfast and dinner. Kids have their own buffet section in the main restaurant. Plus there is a bar and a snack bar.

Also at the hotel, there is an outdoor play area for the kids. You can get fit at aqua aerobics and the hotel runs a daytime activity programme. Sports-wise there is a multi-sports court for a range of activities including football, basketball, volleyball and handball. There is a gym for adults who want to work out.

In high season there is a kids’ club that has game consoles, pool and air hockey tables and a soft play area. There is a club for children aged 4-12 and also a teen club for ages 13-17. Then in the evening, there is a kid’s disco plus plenty of family-friendly entertainment. This is different every night with acts such as magic shows, tribute acts, karaoke and quizzes.
