In Kolymbia right by the sea on the Greek Island of Rhodes is the Atlantica Aegean Blue. This is a popular hotel with families especially because of the sandy stretch of beach on the edge of the grounds and an on-site waterpark. Kolymbia has a beautiful seafront which even in summer has plenty of space to spread out. Away from the seafront, there are a handful of cafes, bars and restaurants. Rhodes airport is the closest to the hotel which is a 60-minute coach transfer away. There is a regular bus service to Rhodes Town and Faliraki.
Highlights
The highlight of a stay at this hotel is the waterpark. It features space bowls, slalom slides and other fun slides. There is something for all ages and little ones have their own jungle-themed waterpark with tubes and slides. Bigger rides have a height restriction of 1.2m or a minimum age of 12. The slides in the children’s section are for those aged 4-12 and there is a section for babies aged from 8 months to 3 years.

Your Board Basis
The board at this hotel is all-inclusive. This includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also included is one free visit to one of the three a la carte restaurants per week, a table will need to be booked in advance. Also included are snacks at set times, non-branded alcohol, locally produced non-alcoholic drinks and hot drinks.
The buffet restaurant features a range of local, international and family favourites. Other restaurants include an Asian restaurant, a Taverna and an Italian. There is a range of bars including 2 pool bars and a swim-up bar. You also have a couple of places where you can get some snacks from.
Additional Activities
Also on-site is a huge sea-view lagoon pool with water jets. This snakes its way beneath little wooden bridges and there is another pool that has a swim-up bar. Those aged over 12 can enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi plus there is a kids pool and a baby lounge where really little ones can cool off.
There is a great range of other facilities at this hotel. Children aged 3-11 can burn off energy over at the playground and really little ones have their own soft play area. There is also table tennis, tennis, beach volleyball, mini-football and more. In peak season there is a variety of watersports at the beach like parasailing, jet-skiing and canoeing. In the daytime, there are dedicated sports and activity hosts who arrange extra activities seven days a week.
On-site there is a mini market and a money exchange. There is free Wi-Fi at the hotel and the reception is open 24 hours. At the beach, the sunbeds and parasols are available for an extra charge.
Entertainment
Younger children can take part in the TUI Kids’ Clubs. These are open from late March until late October. They feature disco nights, parent-and-baby sessions and more six days a week. There is the Minis club for ages 3-6 and the Maxis for ages 7-12. Plus a baby club for really little ones.
In the evenings you can enjoy a range of evening entertainment several nights per week. This may include live bands, live shows and other musical entertainment.

Rooms include free Wi-Fi, an LCD satellite TV, a welcome pack and a mini fridge. Air conditioning is available from mid-May until the end of October. Their double rooms can sleep up to 3 people and have a terrace or a balcony. You can upgrade to a swim-up room with pool access from your terrace.
