We have enjoyed a couple of winter sun holidays now in Europe. Our first one was to Gran Canaria and the second to Tenerife. The Canary Islands are certainly up there with the best places for great all-year weather but they aren’t the only places to visit in Europe during the winter months.
I know some families that prefer to holiday at this time of year as the hotels are much quieter than in the summer months yet life doesn’t stop completely. You can still enjoy sunny days and direct flights from the UK to most of the following destinations. European destinations are perfect for an easy getaway when the days are cold and damp at home.
