This is a round-up post for events this Halloween 2025 in the South West, for this October half-term. I’ve found events in all of the counties and there are plenty of ideas to keep you busy. American Museum & Gardens – American Halloween Half Term – Somerset

Avon Valley Park – Pumpkin Patch – Somerset
Grab a wheelbarrow and roam through our authentic homegrown pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. With 36 years of experience at PYO, we have a bumper crop waiting for you. Pumpkins are not included in the event entry ticket. Pumpkins are priced depending on size and variety. Theatrical Performers & Fire Shows. Shake your BOO-ty with our Spooky Farm Family and their ‘Spirit of the Pumpkin’ dance routine. Our Spooky Family like to wander the patch and make new friends too. Berkeley Castle – Halloween at Berkeley – Gloucestershire
Step into the shadows of history this Halloween and discover a Castle brimming with eerie atmosphere and autumnal magic. Be enchanted by Owls in the Great Hall, their silent wings and piercing eyes adding to the Castle’s medieval splendour. Gather round for Spooky Storytelling, where tales of mystery and folklore will send a delightful shiver down your spine. Bishop’s Palace – October Half Term – Somerset
We’ve got plenty to keep families entertained this October Half Term. Explore 14 acres of RHS partner gardens and enjoy the golden leaves of autumn. Discover the history of our 800-year-old Palace in a fun, interactive way with one of our multimedia family tours (included with admission). Dare you enter the Dragon’s Lair? Camel Creek – Pumpkin Fest – Cornwall

Cattle Country Farm Park – Pumpkin Patch – Gloucestershire
Looking for an autumn adventure the whole family will love? Longleat – Ghost Tours – Wiltshire
This October Half Term, Ghost Tours are making a spooky return during our Great British Autumn event. Longleat House was built between 1567 and 1580, and it is believed to still have people who featured in its history making their presence felt. Discover the supernatural stories as expert guides reveal the tale of Lady Louisa Carteret, known as the Grey Lady, who is said to still walk the corridors searching for her lover. World of Country Life – Halloween Half-term fun – Devon
Spooky goings on at the park, with pumpkin carving, a Halloween trail, and a fancy dress competition. Pumpkin carving is only on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of October. The trail will be available from the 27th of October onwards. The fancy dress competition is only on the 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st of October, and will take place at 2:30 pm each day in the Barnyard Theatre, immediately after ferret racing.
