Spring is here and so are the adorable lambs. There are quite a few places across Yorkshire where you can bottle-feed lambs in 2024. We have compiled a list of where to go to help you choose your lamb-feeding experience.
Please note that lamb feeding availability can change throughout the Spring. It is highly recommended to call ahead to check that they have lambs you can feed if that is your main reason for visiting.

Birchfield Ice Cream Farm – North Yorkshire
Vist the farm this spring at one of the busiest times in the farming calendar and say hello to all the expectant ewes in the barns ready to give birth. If you are lucky enough you may even see a lamb being born. The farmers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and to let you know a little more about our animals.
Please arrive and queue up before the feeding times for the chance to help bottle feed our lambs. If it is busy we will ask children to share bottles so that everyone gets an opportunity to feed them. Lamb feeding times: 11am & 2pm.Birchfield Ice Cream Farm

Hesketh Farm Park – North Yorkshire
Throughout an Easter visit there will be lots of sheep giving birth and hopefully you will just time it right to see a newborn lamb’s arrival. Because we have lots of sheep all giving birth there are always orphan lambs that need our help to look after.Hesketh Farm Park
On a visit, listen out for the bell ringing when they are due for a feed and come and lend a hand.

The Watering Hole on the Farm – West Yorkshire
– You will meet our new baby lambs which will include plenty of photo opportunities.
– You will help prepare the lambs milk prior to bottle feeding.
– You will receive a certificate upon completion of the feeding session.
– The experience will last for around 30 minutes.

Cannon Hall Farm – South Yorkshire
Please note this is different to all the other attractions as lamb bottle feeding is available here as a VIP experience and is only for ages 8+.
Help tend our flock by bottle feeding this year’s ‘vulnerables’ – those lambs who need a little extra special care and the orphan lambs and goats.
While you are there, we will make sure the adult sheep aren’t neglected – you’ll learn a bit more about our rare breeds and help our farmers make sure they are set for the day.
The overall experience will last for one hour. There is a maximum group size of 6 people so you may share your experience with a few other people.

Sledmere House – East Yorkshire
This a great opportunity to join us for our special Sledmere lambing time experience.
Meet our newborn lambs, enjoy cuddles with our fluffy little flock and if you are around at feeding time you might even get a chance to give them a bottle. You can even watch ‘Lambing live’ streamed straight from the main lambing sheds and our Farm team will give you an insight into what happens during this busy spring period.Sledmere House
