I love a visit to a Garden Centre at Christmas time and Brigg Garden Centre near Brigg in Lincolnshire is certainly one of the best in the country. If you can manage to walk out without buying anything and without taking your kids to meet Santa it’s pretty much a free day out. Personally, I take it as a mission to leave with at least one new Christmas decoration, especially as my son’s too old now to meet Santa.

Animated Christmas Scenes

It’s not just about the gifts and decorations at Brigg Garden Centre. At Christmas time they also have some great animated displays including singing reindeer, a polar bear band and so much more. I’m feeling so Christmassy now, I already need to arrange a revisit this winter.

Check out the fish

Ever since my son was a toddler he’s loved looking at all the different fish in tanks at garden centres. Brigg has a great range of fish and now he’s older he spends even longer looking at them. Always a win for us!

Be Amazed by the Christmas Scene in Miniature

This display is absolutely fantastic. They set everything going so if it has lights the lights are on. If it moves it’s moving. I could spend hours here just staring and watching everything. I love it, we all love it. Best of all most of what you see you can actually purchase. It’s hard not to buy something, especially as there are usually 2 or 3 items that are reduced.

Check Out Their Christmas Lights + Photo Opportunities

There are a few displays of Christmas Lights at Brigg Garden Centre. We are yet to buy any lights from here but I’m sure it won’t be long.

Dotted around the displays of decorations they have also set a few areas up for you to take photos of your loved ones.

OK, he’s pulling a silly face in the photo below and it went a bit blurry but you get the idea. He loved this Christmas rat that he chose to buy.

Peruse all their Christmas Decorations

I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere with quite so many Christmas decorations. Each different area has a theme so there’s usually a candy theme, traditional, red, winter and many more.
