The Caribe Royal Resort and Suites is a well-located off-park hotel in Orlando, Florida in the USA. Located in Lake Buena Vista the hotel provides free shuttles to Disney Parks. It has 3 resort pools plus 6 restaurants. The hotel has undergone a recent contemporary transformation and is just a 10-minute drive from the main Disney parks and a 15-minute drive from Universal Orlando Resort. It is also just moments away from Disney Springs.
Nearby there is a collection of upmarket hotels, shops and restaurants set around scenic lakes and landscaped golf courses. Flights are to Orlando International Airport which is a 30-minute drive away or Melbourne Orlando International Airport in peak season which is an 80-minute drive away.
Highlights
The main swimming pool has waterfalls and a slide going into it. Children can use the waterslide so long as they are 42 inches in height, otherwise they will need to be accompanied by an adult. There are hot tubs and a kid’s splash pool around the edge. It is worth noting that there are no lifeguards on duty.

Your Board Basis
Board at the Caribe Royal Resort is Bed and Breakfast. Or you can choose to stay room only and make good use of all the great restaurants nearby. The Venetian Chop House is the hotel’s main restaurant which has won awards. There are a couple of bars, a couple of cafes, a Starbucks and somewhere for evening cocktails.
Additional Activities
Facilities at this hotel also include tennis courts, a basketball court and a jogging track. There is also a playground and some arcade machines. The on-site gym spans a couple of storeys and is filled with equipment. At the Island Spa, there are a number of treatments on offer. As well as the shuttle services to Walt Disney World resort there is also an evening shuttle to Disney Springs. Reservations are required in advance and travel times vary depending on the time of year.

There is very little in the way of entertainment at this hotel. There are sometimes live sports screenings.
