This is a comprehensive list of all of the soft play centres in Lincolnshire. It is not a list of recommendations or endorsements but ideas on where to go. We have not managed to visit all of these indoor play areas ourselves. Unless they are running limited play sessions each centre should be somewhere you can spend two or more hours.

In alphabetical order:

Active Nation – Birchwood leisure centre

How Much? Active climb is £6.00 per person (ages 4+) and active play is £5.00 per person, children under 1 are free.

Address – Birchwood Avenue, Lincoln, LN6 0JE

About – Active Nation Birchwood is an indoor soft play centre with a climbing, bouncing and playing adventure. The Active Climb Centre is an indoor climbing centre with a variety of different designs and difficulties for the ultimate challenge. No experience is needed at all. They will get you strapped into the harness and its go go go for 60 minutes of fun as you race to the top and complete the challenges. More Information

Captain Kids Adventure Play – Skegness Pier

How Much? Admission is per child which is £2.95 (3 months – 3yrs) and £7.00 3yrs and above. In general, there is no time limit for admission (except in very busy circumstances)

About – This is a large indoor adventure play area that is safe and well-designed with lots of different obstacles, slides and ball pools to explore. Toddlers are catered for as well, separate from the main play area. There is a wide choice of refreshments available. More information

Cheeky Chimps Playzone – Scunthorpe

How Much? Children aged 0 to 4 years old are £5.95 and children aged 5-12 are £6.95.

Address – 1 Birkdale Rd, Scunthorpe DN17 2AU

About – The main play structure is 3 levels high and consists of 3 large racing slides (from the top all the way to the bottom), a shorter rapid slide and a curly spiral slide. There are lots of walkways with various obstacles (including a tricky rope jungle) and loads of little hideaways. All in all a great physical challenge for children of all ages. They are open for most of the year. At weekends and school holidays. Find out more

Cheeky Monkeys, Mablethorpe

How Much? There is no charge for an adult. Children are £3.50 each and under 4s are £1.50.

About – In Empire amusements down the high street you will not just find amusements but a café, bingo hall and a casino but a soft play area as well. Cheeky Monkeys is suitable for toddlers up to children no taller than 4ft9in. More Information

Coco Bongos at Mirage, Mablethorpe

How Much? unknown

Address – 9-19 High St, Mablethorpe LN12 1AG

About – Coco Bongos is located within the Mirage entertainment centre at Mablethorpe. The soft play area has ball pools and slides. I am struggling to find any further info. If anyone knows of prices etc. please let me know.

Crazee Bongos, Sleaford

How Much? During weekends and school holidays under 1’s are free. Under 4s are £6.10 and over 4s are £7.10. 1 accompanying adult is free, for any additional adults they are charged at £2.95 each. They have different pricing options during the week.

Address – Unit 4, Sellwood Court, Sleaford Lincolnshire

About – Sleaford Soft play – the main play structure features all the kids’ favourites like crawl tubes, bash bags, ball pools, spinning poles, wobbly rope bridges and a lookout pod. Plus 3 different levels and types of slides. The toddler zone for 4’s and under is one of the best I’ve seen. There’s a big structure for them to play on plus a ball pit and a big area with cushioned items. More Information

Fun Farm, Grantham

How Much? For weekends and school holidays, it’s £6.99 per child. Adults are £1 and those under 6 months are free. Prebooking online in advance is essential

Address – Dysart Rd, Grantham NG31 7LE

About – There’s plenty of fun to be had exploring and climbing in this safe and friendly environment. There are ball pools, tube slides, deck climbs and rope swings. Outdoors there is a play area with a pirate ship. Plus indoors there’s a separate toddler area. More Information

Fun Farm, Lincoln

How Much? For weekends and school holidays, it’s £8.95 per child and £6.25 per toddler off-peak. Adults are £1 under 1’s are £2.

Address – Stephenson Rd, North Hykeham, Lincoln LN6 3QU

About – The Fun farm near Lincoln has a very large soft play area and a really big play area for toddlers. They also have laser tag, mini bowling, a quad bike track for £1 a ride and roller skating. More Information

Fun Forest, Brigg

How Much? Children aged 5-11 are £6.75, £4.75 aged 1-4 and children under 1 are £1.00. 2 adults enter for free with each paying child.

Address – Europa Way, Brigg, North Lincolnshire DN20 8UN

About – Aimed at the under elevens, with devoted areas set aside for the under five’s and a dedicated baby area. There are 4 levels of fun (with the biggest playframe for miles), 4 lane Astra slide, a Giant spiral slide, Twin lane wavy slide, a sports area, a Toddler area with a slide and a separate Baby area.

Fun Farm, Spalding

How Much? Admission at the weekends and during school holidays is £9.99 per child aged 3-12 and ages 6 months – 3 years £7.99. Off-peak toddlers are £6.99. Adults are £1 and those under 6 months are free. They also have laser tag and high ropes onsite at an additional cost.

About – Three storeys of action-packed padded play structure with slides, deck climbs, roller squeezes, and a spooky spider cave! Plus ball pools, tube slides, rope bridges, deck climbs, and rope swings. They also have designated toddler and baby play areas with soft play, curly slide, ball pools, ride-on tractors and much more to explore! More Information

Fuzzy Ed’s, Boston

How Much? Unknown

Address – Marsh Lane, Boston, PE21 7QS

About – Located within the Spirit of Endeavour pub. It is a soft play area for ages 0-12 years! Children must be under 4ft 10″ and supervised at all times. There is a baby area that caters for children 0-4 years and an older section for children aged 5-12 years old. There is no mention of cost online. We went a couple of years ago and it wasn’t expensive.

Fuzzy Ed’s, Grimsby

How Much? Unknown

Address – Littlefield Lane, Grimsby, DN34 4PS

About – Located at the Cricketers pub in Grimsby. Fuzzy Ed’s Fun House is a soft play area for ages 0-12 years! Children must be under 4ft 10″ and supervised at all times! We have a baby area which caters for children 0-4 years and an older section for children aged 5-12 years old! The Fun House is attached to a fantastic family dining pub.

Kids World, Skegness

How Much? Children can stay all day for £6.00 and toddlers for £5.00.

About – Kids world soft play is located within Lucky Strike amusements and is on the second floor. There is a huge play area with an area, especially for the under 5s. Inside the mainframe, there is plenty to keep children entertained for hours. From the snakey slides, interactive i-play, ball pool, zip line and trampoline. More Information

Magical castle, Cleethorpes

How Much? They have a variety of prices for term time, school holidays and weekends. Weekends and school holidays children under 1 are free. 1-3-year-olds are £6.25 and 4-12 years are £7.25. Adults are £1.

About – This soft play area actually looks like a castle. Inside you will find Curly Slides, Wavy Slides and Tube Slides. Ball Pools, Ball Showers and Ball Fountains. Dizzy Discs, Climbing Nets and Climbing Walls. More Information

Playtowers, Boston

How Much? Prices are not currently listed online

Address – Rochford Tower Lane, Boston, PE21 9RH

About – This soft play area is huge. There is so much to it! There are many slides, climbing areas, bridges including a very wobbly ramp, ball pools and much much more. They also have a newly refurbished play area for toddlers and babies. More Information

Playzone, Lincoln

How Much? Under 4’s are £4.95 at peak times and ages 4 -15 at peak times are £7.50. Under 1’s are free with a full-price paying sibling. Accompanying adults are £1.50.

About – The soft play area is a massive 10,000 sq. ft packed to the brim with play equipment designed to stimulate and challenge all ages. Nowhere else in the area allows Mum and Dad to play freely alongside their kids. The play frame for the 5 and overs is based on 4 monster slides. There’s a drop slide, 4 lanes astro slide, a double drop slide into a ball pool and a tube slide. There are also tumble towers, ball pools, rope swings, spooky mazes, crawl tubes, a slither chicane, a slackline, a spider web, air cannons and much more. More Information

There is also a separate Soft Play area full of sliding, climbing and crawling opportunities on a smaller scale, perfect for the little ones to develop their skills in readiness for Adventure Play on the main frame.

Suncastle, Skegness

How Much? Unknown

About – They have 2 soft play areas, one for the under 5’s and another for over 5’s including slides, ball pools and a number of soft animals. They currently have a voucher on their website for entry for just £1.00. Without this voucher, I am unsure how much it costs for regular entry. Please let me know if you can. More Information

Time for play, Grimsby

How Much? At peak times children under 1 are free, Under 5’s are £5.95 and over 5’s are £6.95. Adults are £1 during peak times but free when not.

About – This is a 5000 sqft Play Centre with 3 levels soft play area in the centre of Grimsby. There are separate zones for babies, toddlers and juniors. More Information

Tiny Tots Village Indoor Playzone, Ingoldmells

How Much? All-day play is just £4.25 per child and adults go free.

Address – Sea Lane, Ingoldmells, PE25 1RH Skegness

About – This is a large themed indoor play centre for children aged up to 10 years. They have playhouses, ride-ons, play equipment and more. More Information

The Yard, Stamford

How Much? Under 1s are free, 1-7 years £5 and adults are £5

Address – Unit 2, West Street Business Park, West St, Stamford PE9 2PR

About – The Yard is an indoor soft play centre & cafe dreamed up by two local mums who craved a place that accommodated & appealed to adults and children alike. Children have the freedom to explore the large play structure safely in their own environment, under 2’s have a designated space to explore. Wacky Warehouse, Gamekeeper, Lincoln and Old Farmhouse, Scunthorpe

How Much? There’s unlimited off-peak play for £3.50. 1-hour play at peak times is £3.50 per child and £2.25 during term time.

Address – Lincoln – Newark Rd, South Hykeham, Lincoln LN6 9NH. Scunthorpe – Doncaster Rd, Scunthorpe DN15 8TE.

About – Every Wacky sits alongside a Fayre & Square family restaurant. With aerial runs, cargo nets and Astro slides, plus there’s a safe toddler area.
