Forbidden Corner

Forbidden Corner

The Forbidden Corner is located near Middleham in North Yorkshire. It is a collection of follies not long been put together. You can only visit with a pre-purchased ticket. You are handed a map of sorts and from that, you have to try your best to find everything. Find everything we did not but we tried our best. There are 58 things to find and we found all but four.

What is there to do at the Forbidden Corner?

Virtually everything at the Forbidden Corner is a surprise and not what you expect. It is such a unique day out with tunnels, follies, chambers, water features that get you wet and so much more. As you walk around you will hear people laughing, screaming and squealing.

There is no set way to go around leaving you to make the decisions and to figure out where to go next. Please be aware that some aspects may scare younger children, especially in the Armstrong mausoleum

Highlights include a tower with a face and if you enter it may burp at you, a witches’ cave and things that spray out at you. A very scary and dark mausoleum with skeletons, crypts and scary noises, it’s also very dark. Plus a tower and a labyrinth of tunnels. Some with multiple doors, an underground rats world and so much more. There is also a fun adventure playground made of mostly wood at the Forbidden Corner with walkways and slides.
